What is HHCP?
As some may have guessed, hexahydrocannabiphorol or HHCP is a cannabinoid whose effects are similar to THC. Unlike THC and CBD, which can be extracted from hemp, HHCP is synthetic and is obtained by hydrogenating THCp.

HOW IS HHCP OBTAINED?

To produce it, chemists start with a base HHC molecule, which they subject to a process of molecular transformation.
The result of this process is an HHCP molecule that contains 7 carbon atoms in its structure (whereas HHC only contains 5). These extra carbon atoms give it a greater affinity for the CB1 endocannabinoid receptor in the nervous system. Thus, HHCP would have effects 30 times more intense than HHC, without causing the sedative and psychotropic effects of THC.
What is CBN?
Cannabinol (CBN) is a cannabinoid found in the Cannabis sativa plant. It can also be produced synthetically. CBN is formed when THC breaks down due to exposure to heat, air, and/or light. This is why higher levels of CBN can be found in aged, dried cannabis.
What are the effects of CBN?
Antibacterial – Studies on CBN have found that it can be a powerful antibacterial agent. In laboratory conditions, CBN has been tested on strains of MRSA bacteria that are resistant to traditional antibiotics. Researchers found that it is a powerful antibacterial agent against these resistant strains. Perhaps in the future, we will see CBN used to fight bacterial infections that our usual antibiotics cannot cure.
